Don't Waste Your Life By Not Eating His Word!

Yes, we can't afford to waste our life by not eating His Word daily.

Just because we all were snowbound and worship service was cancel due to the danger on the road. This doesn't give us the excuse to skip the worship at home. I am thankful for the opportunity for this to teach me a lesson today. I am also thankful that Justin Childers, our pastor at Christ Baptist Church of Wilson had email us that worship service had to be cancel, and he also gave us an assignment what we should be doing on Sunday morning.

Our assignment was to read the entire book of Philippians and be praying for our members of CBCW along with Philippians 1:9-11. I also did pray for the regular attender as well as the members of CBCW. Sing some songs of the faith. And also to listen to one of his sermon that we had missed. What a wonderful time I had this morning. Thank you, Justin for having us to do this at home. I do thank the Lord for you.

Now, on the other subject again about Don't Waste Your Life By Not Eating His Word.

It isn't too late to start reading your Bible daily and meditation daily too. Last year, I did read the whole ESV Bible daily, and I am doing this again this year in NASB (New American Standard Bible) and with meditations (Taste and See by John Piper) for the first time this year. I can tell you how bless I was to do this and still am thankful for the time to eat His Word daily. I would encourage you all to do the same thing. If I can do it, then you can do it.

We all need to be hungry to eat His Word daily! It is YUMMY to eat His Word and reviving the soul.

Hungry to eat His Word,
'Guerite ~ BoldLion
