I had been reading and eating John Owen's book on Communion with God. On page 12, "They are to receive Him as the One who loves them, are are to be full of praise and thanksgiving to God for His love. They (saints) are to show gratitude for His love by living a life which pleases Him."
Yep! he got that right. We all need to show gratitude for His love by living our life which pleases Him. Do we daily live our life that is pleasing to Him or not? We ought to. (I do hope that I had worded it correctly.)
I do encourage you all to get this book. It will take me a long time and a lot of dinner dates with this wonderful book. I am taking my time to eat this book along with eating His Word as well. This is an very deep and very educational book to read. Now, this book isn't a hard reading book but a real eyes opener. I have a lot to learn. I love it and so madly in love with this book and His Word that is the Bible.
