Justin Childers, my wonderful Pastor!

I got this challenge to write this on my blog about Justin Childers, my wonderful pastor at Christ Baptist Church of Wilson, from Abraham Piper's blog, who is the son of John Piper of Desiring God.

There are so many reasons why I am so thankful for Justin Childers, my wonderful pastor.
1) He is always hungry to eat His Word. Jer. 15:16
2) He does preached Bible-Saturated ~ His Word. 2 Timothy 4:2
3) He does preached God-centered Focus, Christ-centered Focus, and Cross-centered Focus. 1 Cor. 1:23a, 1 Cor 2:2
4) He does preached expository and not story-telling way.
5) He does encourage us to apply His Word to our life for Christ by sharing what the Bible had to say.
6) I am ever hungry to learn from Justin what he had learn from eating His Word.
7) I always look forward going to church and knowing that I will be hearing the Word and applying to my life.

There is so many to list why I am so thankful for Justin.

Thank you! Justin for being our pastor at Christ Baptist Church of Wilson. Also thank you for preaching His Word every Sunday and Wednesday night.

We at the small care group, (my pastor is in another small care group), always love to talk about how much you had pointed out the passages that hadn't gotten our attention before. We all have learn so much about His Word through your wonderful sermons.

Again, Justin, Thank you for leaving Texas and bigger church to come to Wilson, NC (which seems to be a very small city) to be our pastor and start a new church when there were just a handful of people (9 of us). (I believe there were 7 of us, but I counted 9).

I would encourage you to listen to his wonderful sermons and read his wonderful blog too.
