It is Winter time! according to Anselm!

On Tuesday night, 11-18-2008, Anselm (my special kitty-cat) "told" me, "It is winter time!" How do I know that it is winter time according to Anselm? Because that is the only time she will sleep on my bed with me and during the very cold weather. She is quite a comfort to have.

I do hope that you all are keeping warm and able to keep down the electric and gas bills.

I do remembered about living at the old place that is a trailer that is not fully insulated. During the bad ice storm and no power, I let all of my three dogs in the house. I only got a twin bed, and they all slept with me.

They aren't a little yap yap kind of dogs. They are a large dogs. One is a Golden Retriever (bigger than average), named Rooster who will sleep at the foot of the bed. He understand that I am a very hot nature. He will keep me warm but not too hot. The other dog is Black Lab / German Shepherd mix, named Jacob. He doesn't understand that I don't want to get too hot. He would sleep on my back side (I am his security blanket) and snored and kick at the same time. Sometime, I will have to kick him out of the bed because he does get me way too hot. Then other dog, mutt more of the Yellow Lab, German Shepherd and Husky mixed, named Blondie. She is not very well trained because she was a stray dog when I got her. She would sleep on top of my head. I don't like that one.

We all did stay warm during that ice storm and power outage. But I did smell doggie though. I had to go to someone's house to take a bath, so that I will smell clean before going to the ladies night special party.

I am looking forward to real winter with snow. I love snow especially dry cold weather. I don't want wet cold weather.

In Christ Alone,
'Guerite
