I will need someone to sponsor me for Rock-N-Walk for Life. This event will be on Oct 13th, 2007 at Wilson Mall.
The center is a Christian, non-profit ministry which has been helping women and families in Wilson since 1985. Its purpose is to assist individuals facing the challenges of unexpected pregnancies, to educate individuals about parenting and adoption as alternatives to abortion, and to assist those recovering from miscarriage or abortion.
Every Walk dollar will help:
- Every person who come to WPC to hear about the love and forgiveness available through Jesus Christ
- Youth in our school and churches hear the challenge of remaining pure until marriage
- Pregnant women hear the truth about all their options while we pray they will choose life for their children
- Young mothers-to-be prepare for birth and parenting
- Needy families earn baby items
- Struggling women find emotional and spiritual recovering after abortion through our post abortion counseling program
