I just finish reading A Hunger for God by John Piper. I am so thankful for this book, and it is a book that I really needed to read.
The chapter for Fasting for the Little Ones is a very sobering chapter about abortion in our nation.
There is a chapter about Fasting and the Course of History which is about other well known people, Jonathan Edwards and others who wrote about their experience in fasting and praying.
There is so much to read about Fasting and Praying in this book. I would encourage you all to read it or read it again if you had read it before. I know that I will need to read it again to remind myself how important fasting and praying is for us.
