Do you have a quite Bible Study time?

I do know that we all do need to have a quite Bible Study time. Are you getting your quite Bible Study time? Do you have your favorite place(s) to do them?

As for me, my quite Bible Study place(s) may not work for you because it is a noise Bible Study time. I am sure that you are wondering how I can function to have Bible Study with all the noise.

First of all, I do have hard time to do my Bible Study at home because it is too much distraction for me. I got to do the housework, yard work, play with my furry children, and work on the computer at home. I find that I can have my quite Bible Study at the restaurant, doctor’s waiting room, during break times at work, and many other places away from home. My favorite Bible Study place is at the restaurant. I am not being distracted at the restaurant, and I know that I do not having to think about cooking my food when I want to eat His Word. When I get my food, I am still eating His Word or reading one of the books that I am studying with His Word in there. How can I do this at the restaurant with all the noise there? All I have to do is to turn my ears off (my hearing aids).

Or I can leave home early to go somewhere early and stay my vehicle in the parking lot until time to go in. I will be eating His Word during that time.

Now, since I am limited about going out to eat, I got to discipline myself to do my Bible Study time at home or find other places to do them without costing me anything. I had struggle with this for many years. I still have to work on this.

I am wondering what about you! Do you have a better advice for me since I am on budget about going out to eat? I do need wisdom about how to do them at home. I had try many way, but I had fail at it.

Also, I do have trouble working on my own Bible Study without the group to talk about what we are learning as we study His Word. Still, I need to do them on my own when there are times when we are studying something else from someone’s book not straight from Bible but still have His Word in the book. Like studying with John Piper’s book or 9Marks book and other things like that for the church study.
