Comparing words from translations to another

In the year of 2002, I was taking a Women’s Bible Study class taught by Anne. Carol told me about this class and recommend that I am to be involved in that class. I am so glad that I became involved in her class. I had learned a lot, and it was a wonderful fellowship too. We were studying the book of Genesis. I came in late in the middle of the book not in the beginning of the class. I wish that I have known about it before that time.

I would encourage you all to get out your Bible not just one translation but several translations so that you can see the wording is different from one translations to another. It’s very interesting how the wordings are done in same kind of meaning.

In Genesis 26:8, I was using NASB’77, and we were talking about other translations that the women in the group were using. We had a ball of talking about this.

Okay, I do hope that you got your Bibles out. Go get KJV, NKJV, NASB, ESV, and NIV. That should do. You can look into other translations to see what they had to say. Now, if you don’t have a wonderful varies of translations. You can go online to Biblegateway

Let go to Genesis 26:8 and look in all of the translations that you have on hand.

I thought that is very strange. We all had to laugh at that wording that many different translations used. Also it is interesting to see what other translations are using.

Now, let go to Genesis 39:14 and see what they are using.

Now, I want to share with you the link to http://www.snoopy.com/ to see one of the e-card or click on this e-card.

I am sure that Charles M Schulz got kick out of this when he was reading his Bible and drew these strips. I don't have the link to that strips without the e-card, but this will do. You will get kick out that too.
