Psalm 4:1

I had a wonderful time out of the house this morning when I was dog sitting and kitty cat sitting. I took my Bibles and books with me so that I can spend my time in His Word this morning away from this computer. After I fed Macy, the kitty-cat, I went to sit down and got my Bible for daily Bible reading and before start reading His Word, I was praying. Then after praying, I opened to Psalm 4 and just right before reading His Word, Macy MEOW and MEOW so loud as if she was crying. I had to put down my Bible to go over to see what is the problem. She just wanted attention and love and rub. After that is done, I went back and to start reading Psalm 4.

Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness!
You have given me relief when I was in distress.
Be gracious to me and hear my prayer! Psalm 4:1 ESV

When I read that, I am reminded how we are like Macy crying for comfort and relief when we are in distress.

Thanks for sharing this sweet tidbit. God speaks to us just as Macy did. Macy often speaks to me. Her needs are simple: feed me, play with me and most important, LOVE ME !!
