Last night, we in our Care Group finish reading, studying, and discussing about The Trellis and the Vine. It is a wonderful book for us to read and learn a lot from it. I am so thankful that we all did this. I can see how helpful this book is for us at Christ Baptist Church of Wilson. (Back in October, I wrote a blog about reading this book in our Care Group.)
I truly to believe that every new church or little church (under 120 members) need to read this wonderful book. But again it is for every church no matter how large they are. It will be trickier for a very large church in my personal opinion to get this start. If you just start a new church, please don't put this off. You will be thankful for this wonderful book, and it will help the church in a lot of way.
All of us, believers for Christ are both disciples and disciple-makers for Christ. We all do need to point and encourage one another to Christ daily.
The growth of the number in church isn't that important but disciplining, and reaching out to others, and pointing others to Christ is far more important.
