The Lord of the Rings!

I want to share with you my observation of The Lord of the Rings.

I had recently watch all three of The Lord of the Rings movies. The first one was The Fellowship of the Ring. The second one was The Two Towers. The Third one was The Return of the King.

It is a very strange and interesting movies to watch. It does have a lot of violent in them. I rather be watching The Lion and the Witch and the Wardrobe which doesn't have that kind of violent in it. I really do wish that I do know how to write this, but I want to share what I have observe about the ring, and its destruction.

The Ring in that movie is an idol which was trying to lead them to destruction. Any idols in our life does lead us to destruction too. We cannot afford to have fellowship with the ring or any idols in our life.

36 They served their idols,
which became a snare to them. Psalm 106:36 ESV

We, as a believer for Christ must destroy or flee from any idol in our life before it does take over us.

14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 1 Corinthians 10:14 ESV

5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Colossians 3:5 ESV

21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. 1 John 5:21 ESV

I am glad that they did destroy the Ring. We all do need to destroy any idol in our life with Christ's help. We can't do this alone. We can do nothing apart from Christ.
