Stop Dating the Church by Joshua Harris!

I had been reading Stop Dating the Church by Joshua Harris. It is a wonderful book to read. I would encourage you all to read his book even though you aren't dating the church. It is a very easy reading book to read, and it can be read in one day.

This book is a wonderful tools to help you to find a church home that you ought to be part of. Also this book is a wonderful tools for us to encourage other how very important it is be part of the church family.

If you dating a church (not a member) or hopping from one church to another church and not being rooted in, then please do get this book and read it. You will be very thankful for this wonderful book.

Remember this: There isn't going to be a perfect church on this earth until we meet Jesus at His feet. We all need to be thankful for a church that we can be part of even they aren't perfect. Don't let it stop you from going to church. Please do find a wonderful church home for you to be rooted in and be part of. You will be thankful when you do this. It will change your life.

After reading this book, and you aren't sure about the doctrine or other things. There are number of wonderful books that you can read that is:

What is a Healthy Church? by Mark Dever ~ It is a very easy reading book and can finish it in one day. For more in depth information ~ 9 Marks of a Healthy Church by Mark Dever

Bible Doctrine by Wayne Grudem ~ (Please do click on that link to read for more detail about this wonderful book.) It isn't a quick and easy reading book but a very challenging one. This book does have 528 pages including index and glossary. It is an very educational book to read. This book will also help you to define your own doctrinal convictions. Last year (2009),I had read most of it and not all of it with Tuesday Morning Theological Breakfast with my wonderful church family. I am so thankful for this book. Sometimes, I still do look it up to full understand about others strange doctrine that didn't sound right to me.

I do pray that you will find a wonderful church home to be part of a wonderful church family. As for me, I am so thankful for my wonderful church family. If I have to move due to my job or whatever reason, I know without any doubt, that I would say that I will have to uproot my wonderful church family and move them with me. I do thank the Lord for them.

I do want to share with you this passages.

24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV
