Yes! This is about the Bible Software Programs! I just would like to hear from you and your personal experience which is the best Bible Software Program that you use for your Bible Study or research within their program.
I know there is number of them out there that you can buy and number of them out there that are free that you don't have to buy.
Free ones:
BibleGateway (I do tell other about this when I am working at Books a Million helping customer buying Bible and other study tools for Bible.)
Got Question Online Bible Tools and Study Light (These two does have old Bible Translations free just as Geneva, Bishop or more before KJV came out.)
Precept Austin
e-Sword (This does required to download on your computer) I didn't like this one especially when I had dial up when I did this. Now, I do have RoadRunner, but this does take up computer space. I had delete this off my computer. (Not all of Bible is free to download but some are.)
ESV (English Standard Bible) Bible online that is:
ESV.org (I used this one all the time unless I need different translations or other Bible Study tools.)
ESV Online Study Bible (That is if you have an ESV Study Bible that you brought in the book form to get it free online.) I am thankful for this one!
I had used QuickVerse for many years on my old computer before using Bible Gateway or other free online Bible program. I do currently have QuickVerse (that I got as a gift from my sister, Alie, that is J. I. Packer Library Volume 1 from E4 Group which did come with QuickVerse) on my current computer, but not as big as the old ones on my old computer with a lot of other Bible Translations on it. I am getting all the email from QuickVerse to get an upgrade and more.
There is a lot of e-books from QuickVerse. I am not too crazy about e-books but love e-Bible, but I can see the value of e-books online when searching for specific study or quote that I did like to share with other.
I am content without getting upgrade for new one because I can get free online without buying something that you can get free. Since money doesn't grow on tree for me and for everybody. Free is better than nothing, and you don't have to download it onto your computer. We all need to be thankful for computer technology nowadays.
For my Palm Pilot, I am currently using Laridian, and I love it and can take it everywhere I go. I got 12 Bible Translations in it and including Strong's Number, Bible Dictionary, Commentary and more. What would I do without this when I am eating His Word away from my computer or my favorite Study Bible in book form at home?
Can you, please tell me your favorite online Bible tools that is free that you are currently using or favorite Bible Program that you have or had brought?
Hungry to eat His Word,
'Guerite ~ BoldLion
