I am currently reading The Cross of Christ by John R.W. Stott. One of my wonderful church family gave me this book, and I am so thankful for a wonderful friend.
Right now, I am in the first chapter. WHOA! What a lot of information to learn from that! I know that I am looking forward to be part of the Tuesday Morning Theology Breakfast with my wonderful church family. We are studying this for Tuesday Morning Theology Breakfast together with the questions in the back of the book (especially if you have the 20th edition).
In the first chapter is full of the history about the cross and most of it I never had known about the history of it. Wow! It also explained about the cross and tree and about why Christ die for us and His purpose too. It is also full of scriptures for us to look up and some are quoted in the book.
I haven't finished the first chapter yet. It is a very long chapter. I know that I got a lot to learn as I am reading this book.
I would encourage you all to read this book too.
I am hungry to learn more from The Cross of Christ and hungry to eat His Word too!
