Habakkuk 3:19

I was just thinking about what I have learned and am still learning as I am eating His word. This did remind me what I was reading in Dec of '99. I was reading one of the Christian books for single. It was quoting a passage from NKJV. I wasn't use to that which is now one of my favorite translations.

Sometime when I am reading something or verses from the Bible, my mind tend to play trick on me. I do have to read it again to make sure what it is saying to me.

The LORD God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills. Habakkuk 3:19 NKJV

But as I read it, I read:
"The LORD God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high heels. "

Then I knew that wasn't right as I read it. I was thinking about high heels shoes not as high hills. I knew this is funny as I think about it. I had to read that again to make sure was it as high heels or something else. The second time, I read it as high hills. I was relieved from that and okay this did makes sense to me.

Later, I went home and look up in another translation. Wow! Some translations used "high places" or "on the mountains" or "high heights"
